About

Cyanotype Films is a film production collective. We make short films on a fully open-source digital cinema pipeline, from camera negative to finished DCP, built on FFmpeg, Blender and DCP-o-matic.

Our background is technical: visual effects, 3D printing and on-set fabrication. It shapes how we work: precise, hands-on, and independent of proprietary tooling at every stage of production.

    Director and writer with a background in visual effects and digital fabrication. Lynne built the collective's open-source cinema pipeline and moves between the technical and the visual: writing, directing and finishing short films end to end.
